When working with Restauranteurs, we understand form and function cannot be mutually exclusive. It’s critical to balance style with durability and know where the budget should be spent
Walking into Barocco x Nino, you’re immediately transported to an Italian cafe. White-washed Oak millwork and live-edge merchandising shelving create the perfect environment to enjoy their stellar coffees and baked goods.
Bright white slatted vertical supports allow for Oak merchandising shelves to reconfigure for an array of premium coffee and teas.
Oak and live edge surfaces, finished in a durable non-toxic finish provide ample space and protection from the inevitable coffee rings and traffic of this busy Toronto cafe
Aside from being hit by the incredible scent of noodles, you’re also greeted by a combination of rift-cut White Oak, glass, and stainless-steel hinges, finished in a Monocoat Natural oil.
This weather-resistant rolling service cart will be enjoying many summer seasons on the third-floor patio at Kojin at Momofuku. Marine-grade plywood with solid edging and gold pulls on castors, finished in a marine-grade paint.
Being entrusted with restoring, rebuilding, and finishing the tabletops and numerous other items at Momofuku was daunting and challenging considering the extensive and amazing furniture and millwork at all of their locations. I wanted to respect the work already there. It turned out well.
The stool tops with copper flourishes are a great test of the enduring weatherproof characteristics and beauty of Sapele wood. I am still sent photos by friends all the time with the question, "Your work?". The inset copper 'dots' are the giveaway.
The patio beckons with these modern benches in quarter-sawn Sapele with black powder-coated isometric steel legs and finished with UV marine-grade teak oil for Grand Electric, Toronto.
Deeply-stained Red Oak floats atop sleek black steel legs to sit up and enjoy one of Castle & Coal’s amazing pastries.
Thick and durable white oak and chromed steel reproduction stools evoke a 1950’s retro diner vibe and serve as an eye-catching invitation to sit up at the bar for authentic Cuban fare at both locations of La Cubana, Toronto

Wrapped in Canadian Douglas Fir, this space is clean, warm, and unpretentious. Colin, Ian and Sam of Grand Electric Restaurants had a great vision, and we were happy to help them realize it.
Blackened Oak seating, laptop and transaction and work surfaces. Simple, clean wonderful design.
Working together with Katy and Niki of Cafe Neon, their stylish and practical vision of a more open eating area came together very well. A hard maple bowling alley top was fixed to a robust raw steel trestle-style base. Vintage eating counter stools complete the area.
