Hanging at 13', it was a bit of an engineering challenge, but the end result was this stunning 8' Cherry wood shelf unit in the mid-century style. The Cherry is a nod to the original millwork in this famous old Toronto residential/commercial building. The building that beckoned me to a life in the city, 42 years ago. Being in this townhouse brought me right back to that meeting with an artisan who informed the course for a young creative.
